A bouquet of zinnias

I love zinnias!  I love color as well which is why I love zinnias!  They are so colorful and so intricate.

Made with fabric snippets and thread

This copy of Van Gogh's painting "Small Pear Tree in Blossom" was created with small snippets of cloth and many passes of thread stitching.  I do it in multiple layers, using netting to cover each layer then stitching over the netting.  I enjoy the process, especially stitching with my machine to finish the design.  I will either turn this into a pillow or frame.  I haven't yet decided.
