This copy of Van Gogh's painting "Small Pear Tree in Blossom" was created with small snippets of cloth and many passes of thread stitching. I do it in multiple layers, using netting to cover each layer then stitching over the netting. I enjoy the process, especially stitching with my machine to finish the design. I will either turn this into a pillow or frame. I haven't yet decided.
